Welcome and thank you for visiting Dallas Woman’s Club of Georgia.  We are a member driven non-profit volunteer service organization made up of women of all ages who share a very simple common goal to serve our community while preserving the rich history of our club and organization.  We believe that service clubs are the backbones of our communities.

The Dallas Woman’s Club was founded in 1920 by civic-minded women involved with the National Library Movement. 

Dallas Woman’s Club is a member of the Georgia Federation of Women’s Clubs,(www.gfwcgeorgia.org) as well as the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (www.gfwc.org).   GFWC Georgia has approximately 70 clubs and 1,401 members throughout the State of Georgia and GFWC which has 80,000 members strong and united in its dedication to volunteer community service. 

Our Club offers a range of volunteer opportunities in five general areas: Arts & Culture, Environment, Education & Libraries, Civic Engagement & Outreach and Health & Wellness and five advancements areas Membership, Communication, Legislative and Public Policy, Leadership and our favorite Women’s History. OUR MISSION – Our mission is to ur mission is to encourage our members to be a catalyst for positive change within our communities through volunteer service.  Simply put, we want to impact lives and the communities we live in through volunteer service.

THE VISION  –  Our vision is to bring awareness and inspire everyone to be action oriented and positive changemakers that make lasting impacts on their communities by serving others while preserving our rich history.
